We achieve this by leveraging our sound recruitment principles, policies and systems which enable us to streamline candidates for selection. Recruits are subjected to rigorous screening process including psychometric, personality, numeracy, literacy, criminal and credit assessments.
With 67% youth unemployment, our Work Readiness Training is one of the most significant tools empowering young people with the critical skills needed to prepare them for the working world. Work Readiness Training serves as the foundational programme in our career development journey with young people. Companies supporting this programme can leverage this investment to meet SED/CSI requirements of the BBBEE codes.
ATS offers an end-to-end learnership training and project management service, which is designed to leverage the skills development scorecard under the B-BBEE codes. We assist companies with the set up and implementation of learnerships ad internships along with structured support for enrolled learners. We are able to offer on-site as well as off-site learnership hosting solutions. ATS’s training, facilitation, assessment and moderation follows SETA guidelines.

Bursaries have recently been codified within the B-BBEE codes. Our bursary-management arm is aimed at identifying young people with tertiary acceptance who meet funders’ criteria. Companies can pay for candidates’ tuition and incidental fees, depending on the quantum of the bursary funding and provide basic tertiary support for a specified number of years. Our interest is to ensure maximum mileage for both bursary recipients and clients.
We are able to provide flexible 6 – 12 months placement solutions through the government’s YES programme. ATS is YES-approved and compliant, and is able to offer end-to-end project management support for YES on-site or off-site placements. In addition, our graduates are also assisted to access the economy through various placement solutions including full and part-time placements with support provided 6 months post placement.

The training content includes overview of the retail industry, the various role-players and how they affect the buying cycle and retail operations, sales and customer service, business skills and business communication, merchant maths, stock room, visual merchandising, Theft & fraud and business etiquette
We offer training services targeted at the hospitality industry, in particular trainings that supply the industries’ Delivery Drivers, Cashiers and Baristas. Interested candidates are trained by industry professionals and placed with reputable partners to gain work experience with a 70 -90% transition to permanent employment post the work experience phase.
In partnership with key role players in the industry, we offer bespoke training aimed at empowering young people to earn income as artisans either in the formal or informal economies. Training portfolio are currently limited to the Glass fitting and Installation and Hair & Beauty industry to equip graduates with practical or first-hand skills to generate income through employment or self-employment
Over a 6 to 24 month period, we train unemployed young people on the financial ecosystem as well as computer programmes and other technology used to support or enable banking and financial services.
Embedded into the South African approach of impacting youth employment within various occupations, there is an unspoken truth that having a foundational skill such as driving makes youth more employable or promotable. The #DrivingChange initiative focuses on increasing the number of young people who move through the driver’s license funnel and qualify with a license in order to improve their opportunity of either gaining meaningful employment or being promoted from an entry level position.
