Afrika Tikkun Services (ATS) is proud to announce the nomination of its phenomenal CEO, Ms. Onyi Nwaneri, as one of the finalists at the 19th Annual Standard Bank Top Women’s Awards 2022. Ms. Nwaneri has been nominated in the Top Gendered Empowered Organisations: Youth Development category, for her outstanding work and relentless efforts in that field.
This prestigious award not only recognises women who are trailblazers in their respective fields of business but it simultaneously brings together global thought leaders and experts onto one platform. The award offers inspiration, practical solutions, networks, and support to 10 000 women entrepreneurs in Africa.
Indeed Ms. Nwaneri’s stellar efforts in spearheading the plight of alleviating youth unemployment, particularly amongst young South African women have not gone unnoticed. Under the visionary leadership of Onyi Nwaneri, ATS set out to address the crippling plague of youth unemployment, poverty, and skills shortages and adequately equip them for the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR). Since ATS’s establishment three years ago, Ms. Nwaneri has successfully steered ATS’s course, vision, and goal of exposing African women to global opportunities in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Sector. She has enabled the provision of a support structure for women who are interested in working and becoming entrepreneurs in the ICT Sector.
Through our Women-In-Technology (WIT) Programme, ATS provides foundational and specialised skills that will enable female youth beneficiaries to achieve accelerated access to the economy, including the digital economy. Training is offered at our fully equipped training centres and is facilitated by ICT experts and longstanding partners in the ICT space.
