My name is Proud Sithembile Maluleka, l am 25 years old and currently living in Diepsloot. On the 1st of March 2021 l started a journey at Afrika Tikkun for a work readiness programme.
I graduated 2019 in the field of Bachelor of Business Administration and l was unemployed the whole of 2020. As you know, there is much pain and depression that comes with being unemployed and staying at home doing nothing.
I heard about the programme late last year – 2020. This programme has helped me acquire a lot of skills such as knowing my competent self, empowering others, acting with impact, work related skills, sales and customer services, CV creation and personal finance.
I am very thankful for this programme because not only have l acquired skills, I have learned how to behave and hold myself in the community and also in the workplace. I have also discovered that l love engaging and being in front of people (presenting). I thank Afrika Tikkun for having such programmes because they have helped with my journey to self-discovery and shaping my future in the right direction.
